How we react to people who do hurtful, and mean things to us is a sign of our character and how we view ourselves before God. It is better to overlook the ignorance of these types of people than to get down on their level and behave as they do. Here's a tip: When you see people act in a manner that is ungodly, mean, destructive, rude, and unforgiving, and top it off with gossip, YOU RUN as fast as you can. We have the wrong mentality. We think we can change people by showcasing right behaviors. This does NOT work unless the person is humble and wants to learn and make themselves better. Don't be fooled by people and their "spirituality." People talk the talk, but watch to see if they "walk the talk."
