O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever. To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever." -Psalm 136:1-4
As we go about last minute preparations for Thanksgiving and in our celebration of Thanksgiving, let us remember that giving thanks is not just a one-day event. Thanksgiving is something we do regularly and it is a vital part of our daily worship and praise to GOD.
When you are giving thanks to GOD, you are acknowledging who GOD is, that He is the Giver of all good things, that He is the one who pours out blessings upon you. When you are giving thanks to GOD, you are acknowledging His faithfulness to you.
Remember to give thanks to GOD always. Those who have hearts filled with thankfulness and let the fruit of their lips be praise and gratitude will experience the joy that comes from GOD alone.
