“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” -Galatians 6:9
Consistency is really the most important thing you can do for success. Make a decision you will be consistent in trusting God, obeying God, following God, and trusting His lead. Remember God never contradicts His Word; God’s timing is not our timing, and He does things His way, not our way.
Be prepared for road blocks and to be rerouted. It’s okay. The excitement is all in the journey to where your supposed to go. Surprises aren’t really all that bad. You're still on the road to get you to your specific destination. You just keep goingband thanking God for His protection in the journey.
Finally, ignore, ignore, ignore, your feelings and thoughts of giving up. They are subjective to the situation and are temporary. This is where your faith is tried and tested. Just because we think an outcome should’ve happened our way doesn’t mean God’s promises aren’t true. It means God is bringing us another way. Imagine what Moses, Joseph, Jacob, and the rest would say to us on this subject. Life didn’t exactly workout how they expected and thought it would. Yet, they were faithful, and had faith in a God that couldn’t, and wouldn’t fail them. They won in the end, and so will we.
Be consistent in your faith today. Fully believing ALL things work out for YOUR good, joyfully keeping your eyes on the prize, fully knowing God’s plan is to give you a hope and a future. Our job is to be sure we will not miss out on God’s perfect plan. I’m sure, like me, you have seen so many miss it saw them deeply regret their mistakes.
Don’t go for His permissive will. Never allow yourself to go for that one. Set your mind only for His perfect will. Nobody is ever happy in the permissive will. I promise you nobody is ever happy arriving there. Be in hot pursuit for His perfect will, never exchanging it for some cheap destination and not because you got tired of waiting.
This verse clearly states we are not to get tired of doing good. Don’t be exhausted by doing good while you're getting to where you're supposed to get. Don’t be self-centered and jealous of those who got there already. Keep living your life doing good to all those you encounter in your journey called life as you wait to get to where you're supposed to be, too.
God has a way of rewarding and blessing us in the process. It’s all about the process in our journey. Please catch this. We can’t give up, give in, abandon, or lose heart. There’s a season to come. It will be in that time we will reap, harvest, and celebrate the goodness of the Lord. Not one promise will be lost. Keep going, never settle for less, never accept second best, and never surrender God’s will for anything or anyone. Finally, never, never, never give up. Stay the course!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, You are the One Who Gives Significance to my Life. You are the One Who Leads me. You are the God of Goodness and Life. Father, steady my feet as I walk along this journey to the destination You have for me. Thank You for being the God Who Surrounds me, the God Who Keeps me, and the God of Truth. Help me to stay the course as I am careful to follow the instructions You give me along the way. As I do what You want me to do, I will be careful to give You all the glory for what You have done and I thank You for what You are doing in my life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
