Hidden In My Heart

Heavenly Father, You are the Living God, and You are a Consuming Fire. You expect holiness from Your children, and You expect them to live righteously. Help me, Father, to always remember Your Word tells me all about You and Your character. Your Word tells me about Your nature, and therefore, I must live in Your Word. Help me to remember that in order for me to not live a life of sin, I must hide Your Word in my heart. Your Word is living and breathing and active. Father, thank You for Your Word. Your Word gives me wisdom for decisions I have to make. Your Promises comfort me. Your instructions light my way. Your Word reprimands me when I need discipline. Your Word, O Lord, is truth. May the Spirit of the Living God fill me with the truth of Your words that I might not sin against You, and give me insight and understanding from Your Word as I study to rightly divide the Word of Truth and as I apply Your Word to my life to be pleasing and acceptable to You.
