Look To The Word Without Putting Your Own Interpretation To It

"We also have the message of the prophets, which has been confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to this message, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from the prophet’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever brought about through human initiative, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit." -2 Peter 19-21BSB
Manmade rules are incredibly cunning when men want things that God never wanted His people to have. Mankind will make many notable selfish excuses trying to justify their manmade rules, which serve and benefit only them, so they can make the Word of God fit their wants and desires and justify their wrongdoings.
People, look to the Word of God, and don't put your own interpretation to it because you want what you want. There are many laws, rules, traditions, and cultures that would have us believe why they do the things they do.
Understand that if the rules, traditions, laws, and whatever culture you are surrounded by doesn't match with the Word of God, falling in line with what God says, then it's wrong! Not every law, rule, culture or tradition is godly!
Pure nonsense is pushed on people. People accept what's not good or even right because they don't know what God has to say on the subject!
I'm here to say, God will never give us something that is wrong, sinful, and make us miserable in the end... especially, when we truly want to serve Him!
If you have to explain why it's right most likely it's wrong.
Anything that goes contradictory to the word of God is wrong!
People, don't believe manmade lies because they want what's wrong and make it attractive to excuse what they do! May God give you the eyes to see His best for you, the ears to hear what not to do, the mind and heart to want serve God and follow what He says no matter what it costs you!
Don't settle out of fear, confusion, and explanations that are absolutely, absurd! When you want God's best and want to honor God with your life more than anything else, He will give it back a hundred fold to you!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for being My Lord and My Instructor. You, O Lord, are God and Your Word is Truth! Guide me into all truth and teach me Your laws and decrees so that I can rightly divide Your Word. Take me by the hand and show me what is right and true, what is acceptable to You. Show me, O Lord, what it is that You approve of as I resolve to hide Your Word in my heart that I might not sin against You. Give me the ears to hear Your voice and give me the eyes to see what You want me to see. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
