The Cure For Hatred

The cure for hatred is love.

Hate completely separates us from God. Love that person who hurt you. Begin right now in your mind and say, "(insert name) s/he didn't understand this action would hurt me so much and in the end destroy them, too." Then intercede on their behalf, "God, I ask you for mercy and forgive this wrong. Please help me to completely forgive, and remove from my mind this offense, and let me love this person with YOUR love. I stand in the gap and I ask you forgive the wrong that was done and I ask blessings upon blessings be poured overflowing in their life. Amen." I practice this! No, it didn't change the hearts of all those who hurt me, but I'm not looking only for their hearts to change. God goes much deeper then that, he goes after my heart and makes sure it stays right before Him.

There's the difference. It changes my heart. It keeps me free to stand before Almighty God and know I will be heard by Him, and I can trust God answers my prayers in His time and in His ways when I'm in right standing with Him. At the end, it's about my actions, my attitudes, my character.

God does not play games, especially in the lives of people who proclaim His word and testimony as I do. This why you must be in holy standing with God! God will never be mocked. This is why it's about you and not them. Practice forgiveness. Freely you have received so freely give it. I promise you... I dare you to prove me wrong if this doesn't work!

Be blessed, My Friends!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, You are the Lord of Mercy, the Lord of Forgiveness, and the Lord of Justice. You, O Lord, will not be mocked and I should not be fooled, knowing that You cannot and will not be mocked. Father, help me to learn and teach me to forgive as You do. Help me to always extend grace and mercy to others like You have extended mercy and grace to me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
