WATCHWORD: SECRET
Meaning: Kept hidden from others: Known to only a few people. Revealed only to the initiated.
I have this favorite passage in Psalms, "The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant."
What caught my eye tonight is in the Webster definition of the word Secret. It says, "Revealed only to the initiated, and made known to only a few."
When you and I fear God and want to follow His perfect will for our life, He will make it very clear what He wants us to do. It will not be kept a secret from you. If you "Initiate" by prayer and meditation upon His word, He will be found by you. God is eager to show us His plans for us. We have to be willing to spend time in prayer and meditating upon the word of God. God wants to share with you and only you. It is a personal walk between you and God. I can go to sleep, and be in perfect peace knowing that God will share with me His secrets for my life. He promises to never leave me. He promises that nothing can snatch me out of His hand and out of His perfect will as long as I fear him (that fear is reverencing and obeying Him). He keeps me in perfect peace, even when everything seems out of control because He has shown me His covenant promises. I stand on what He says because God never fails me, and He will not fail you either!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, Thank You for choosing me, and thank You for being the God who is faithful to His promises. Lord, let me walk close to You always that I might always hear You speak Your promises and Your Word to me. Open my ears that I might hear You speak Your plans for my life to me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
