"God is not a man that he should lie. Has he said and will he not do? Or has he spoken and will he not make it good?" -Numbers 23:19
Did you know that God is a God who never lies? God is the God of Truth, and because He cares about truth, it's one of His laws that we should not lie. God wants us to be clean before Him. You know that God loves you, right? This is the way God shows us His love. He has laws for us to obey, and when you obey Him, you show God you love Him back. Remember God never lies, and He doesn't want you to lie either. So do you see that you should not lie and that God doesn't lie either? Because God always tells the truth, you should tell the truth too.
