A Truthful Heart of Praise

Worship unto the Lord should be held in great reverence for the God of our lives deserves the most holiest of praise! The Word of God states in Psalm 100:2 (ESV), "Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!" What this verse is stating serve the Lord with gladness, something none of us do at all, the second part of this verse is talking about coming to into his presence singing and rejoicing again something that we do not do at all.

The meaning of worshiping God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24) has gone out the door completely? Why is that? The reason is people in the world today are afraid to worship for they think God will not accept them for the life they are living, and there is a way of living that is false. The Word of God says, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved," and "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I urge you today to call on the name of God and turn from your life of sin because today is the day of salvation. God will forgive you for all you have done for we are bought by the Blood of the Lamb.

Nowadays, believers have chosen not to worship God in truth which is completely disrespectful to God and His Word. Praise and Worship is a sacred connection between us and God, and praise and worship should and must flow out of a heart of sincere faith and devotion to God. If we are to worship in spirit and in truth, then we must do so with an undivided heart. My message is believe in and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior so that you might be called a Child of the Living God. Repent of your sin, get clean, and have a heart of thanksgiving and praise. Watch God go to work in your life as you choose to surrender to Him and His ways and walk in obedience to Him.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, You are the God who is worthy of all praise and honor for You, O God, are faithful and true. You are the God of all truth, and You expect me to worship You from an undivided heart, a heart of sincere faith and devotion. Thank You for allowing me to come into Your presence to give You the glory You deserve. Father, I choose to surrender to You. I confess to You I have not always worshiped You as I should, and I ask You to forgive me. Lord, I don't know everything that lurks deep within my heart, but I ask for You to fill me with Your Spirit and continue to work in me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
