The Failure Of Faith

The Failure of Faith occurs when the believer fails to realize that God is in control. As children of God, we often fall short of what God has for us because we are too stubborn to move in God's perfect plan, and this results in your faith plummeting.

"But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind." -James 1:6(ESV)

What this verse is describing is the person with lack of faith can be blown around easily, and, in turn, lack of faith can also give you the spirit of fear and fear, as we know, is not of God. Lack of faith can also be turned to doubting God, others, and yourself. It is our job as believers to keep the faith and not turn back. If doubt is allowed to go unchecked and you continually look back, you will find yourself in Satan's grasp or lose your salvation completely.

"So then, those who are of faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith," (Galatians 3:9ESV). It's an encouraging verse with a simple meaning. That meaning is: keep the faith and be blessed. Don't keep the faith, and you won't get blessed or healed. We, as Believers, should have faith like Abraham for even in the midst of trouble and hardship Abraham still had faith in the Lord.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, You are the God of Faithfulness. Lord, help me to remain steadfast with an undivided heart. Help me to get so rooted in Christ and grounded in the Word of God that I would not waver. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
