When You Pray

When we pray we need to look at the following:

  1. His greatness

  2. His majesty

  3. His mercy

  4. His goodness

  5. His holiness

Because of all these things, we ask forgiveness, and we reference HIM. That means we don’t excuse, condone, or hide sins in us or others. We must determine in our heart, mind, and soul to do what is right. It doesn't matter what others have to say. Each of us will stand before God on judgment day and give an account for what he/she has done and said.

Forget and leave behind anyone that will cause you to sin. Jesus himself said who is my mother, father, brothers and sisters? Is there anything more to say? NO, there isn’t! Follow GOD. It’s only HIM that can show you the above attributes and then some.

As for me, I have set my face like flint. I will not be moved or shaken. I will obey every single word, and that does not mean I don’t respect or love others. It means I love GOD more then anyone else, including the woman who birthed me, fully understanding only GOD could have given me life. I love my Mom very much, but, GOD? I love HIM much more. Think about this today. Don’t be deceived by people who live their lives in sin and then try to get you to join their evil behaviors. Stand out, and let GOD deal with others. Do what is right before HIS eyes. You are responsible for YOU only!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, It's all about You. Your approval is all that matters to me. I will keep my eyes fixed on You and keep my mind stayed on You. Your Word tells me You will keep me in perfect peace as I keep my mind on You because I am trusting in You. Lord, I will not look to the left of me. I will not look to the right of me. I no longer am in the past so I will not look behind me, but I look ahead to what You have for me. Keep me from slipping along the path, and help me to remain steadfast. In Jesus Name, Amen.
