"Turn all your anxiety over to God because he cares for you." -1 Peter 5:7
Whatever it is you are dealing with, no matter what the situation, leave it in the hands of God, and trust Him to work it out. Remember fear will cripple you, doubt will leave you adrift in the middle of the ocean, and pride will cause you to fall. He has not given you the spirit of fear but of love and of power and of a sound mind, and faith the size of a mustard seed will move mountains. Humbling yourself and admitting you cannot handle something on your own and need God's help won't cause you to fall because you are already bowing yourself before Him, relying on Him alone. Second Corinthians chapter 12 verse 9 states this, "But he said to me, 'My grace is enough for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' So then, I will boast most gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in me." His grace is your wall of protection, the netting that catches you when you're falling and is the covering that shields you from harm. His grace is sufficient for you and will see you through to the other side. As the child of the Most High God, His unmerited favor is upon you, and through Him, you shall do valiantly.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, You alone are the One I put my hope in for You are the Only God, and there is no one who compares to You. You are my covering and my shield. You have protected me this far, and I am trusting You to get me through to the other side of this situation. Thank You for being my Guide and for being my Shelter in this time. Keep me on Your paths of righteousness and let me not fall to the wayside, Lord, as I walk along this narrow road. Your grace is sufficient for me, and no matter what comes my way, Father, I will continue to seek You and Your righteousness and continue to glorify Your name. In Jesus' name, Amen.
