Happy Women's Day

In honor of International Women's Day, I'm remembering the role models who have influenced me greatly.

They are Queen Esther, Sarah the wife of Abraham, Rebekah the wife of Isaac, Rachel the wife of Jacob, Deborah the Judge, and Mary the mother of Jesus. Harriet Tubman, Rosa parks, Luisa May Alcott, Mother Teresa, Marie Curie, Susan B. Anthony, Helen Keller, and my old time favorite the woman with the issue of blood for her audacity to press forward and touch the garment of Jesus to receive her healing. We must always press on!

As a woman I would encourage women to press on, take hold of the Master's hand, keeping their eyes on the Perfecter of their lives, who holds our future in his powerful and mighty hand. Who has great purposes and plans for our lives, who wants to use us to change the world to bless others and bring him glory. The lives of those who surrender their will for the will of God will never be ashamed or disappointed.

Those women did mighty things, and changed the world by their actions, love, passion, and compassion. Their legacy live on! The lives they touched and the destinies they changed in the lives of others are enormous and speak volumes. Their lives left inspiring us of what determination, and obedience to God looks like.

Let's stop, pause, and think today about these exceptional women. They reveal what real courage and strength, along with dignity, respect, and honor look like. Let us showcase the same and be real role models to a generation that looks for worldly and godless inspirations, without any passion or lasting legacy.

So many women who did so many great things in our world. Let's determine to celebrate this day with an attitude of appreciation for those who paved and lit the way with passion, love for others, and a desire to change the injustice. They were radical and relentless to do the impossible. They were fearless and triumphed over their obstacles. Yes, their lives were meet with horrific challenges. But, they overcame their struggles and challenges by their great trust in a God that doesn’t ever fail. They paved the way, shining brightly for us to follow.

I celebrate womanhood and all that it represents. God created us with unique abilities and talents. I am most thankful to a God that values women and created us to do great exploits for His kingdom and humanity.

I celebrate YOU my beautiful sisters and all that you are. Unique, amazing, talented, and beautiful! Make a splash! Be fearless in the face of oppositions. Be kind in hearted towards the broken and hurting. Love those who society has shown hate and contempt. Never give up on truth, honor, and love.

Finally, we have the power to change the injustice and it starts with you. Be the change don’t wait for someone else. You were created for, “Such a time as this!” Make it count, with God leading your way. Every step, every decision let it be counted for greatness in our world.
