“Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.” Philippians 2:3-4
I had the privilege of being a part of many groups. All wonderful experiences, but I have never been a part of a small group where EVERYONE around the table really and truly loved and cared for each other. I missed every single Monday night I was away. I'm so glad to be back home. I have often made posts here on Facebook inviting you to attend.
Rev. Dr. Loretta's home is truly a God-centered home, opened to the community, with all intentions to bless and help people. Around this table, I have joined them in praying for each other, believing for each other, listening to each heartbreak, and standing with each other.
Biblical principles are implemented, strongly in this group, and no apologies for speaking Bible all the way -no compromising on anything, strictly living the Bible in our actions, and truly caring for each other. You can see and understand how God meets our needs in supernatural ways.
Let me share one story that is not so personal. That’s another thing, what we pray for is not judged, not taken outside that table, not made fun of, and not gossiped about. This why I believe God is blessing this group, by showcasing His supernatural power, and answering our prayers. Miraculous thing, the unexplainable and the unbelievable and the impossible, are taking place in this group.
Listen to this story. In July, I was teaching on my book "Surrender." That was four months ago. We were praying for one woman who desperately needed a car. While we were asking for her, she couldn’t afford a car. I told her, "God can do anything. Let’s believe and trust Him." Soon after that, she came and told us miraculously, she got a brand new car. That built the faith of others in the room. Now we were praying for another women to receive the same miracle. I was praying the whole time I was away for miracles to take place in their lives. On my way home, I stopped in Savannah, and I had received a message from woman #2, “Teresa, you're the first I’m telling. Look what God did! I’m crying tears of joy. God sent me a car.” I was so excited I think I was speeding down that highway.
Let’s move forward to the other night. We were still praying for three more cars for women who desperately are in need of a car. Meanwhile, Pastor Loretta and some of our ladies faithfully go to pick up a few ladies in our group. Their cars died, and they were believing God for a car. Last night, woman #3 walks in. “Guess what? I received an inheritance to purchase a brand new car. So, since I’m getting a brand new car, I’m going to give away my car to woman #4." After she made that announcement, I had received a call a few days before I left. A brand new minivan was being donated to Thread of Hope, and I didn’t need a new car. However, the person donating felt I did. So, call me woman #5. I went down, chose my brand new Town and Country, and I will pick it up end of this week. I turned around and gave my car to woman #6. Then, there was woman #7. She received out of the blue a check from a family member just because, a check covering the entire cost of a brand new car plus much more. Now we're praying for just two more woman to get theirs. Go ahead and tell me this isn’t God meeting the needs of his people in a mighty way. We are 13 women, and seven received cars miraculously through unexpected places and circumstances all at once. Two of us just got cars we didn’t need, so that we could give ours to those who needed them. How about that?!
Perhaps this might not be a big deal to some. I honestly didn’t need a new minivan. Mine is only two years old. I love my minivan, but God knew someone in my group would. Her car died, a few days before I got mine. Look at the other woman in our group. She got an inheritance specifically to get a brand new car. Now her car was available to give to the other woman in the group. This is how God does it. He leaves His handprint all over it so we know for sure He’s in control. Go God Go!
It is clear we are to look for the needs of others in this passage in Philippians. We do that by praying God opens doors, and if within our power, we give. We give out of a heart of love, thanksgiving, compassion, gratitude, and with a cheerful heart. We are to be mindful of the needs of others.
Last night, I said to the group. “Look at what God has done! It’s not about getting seven cars all at once miraculously, People. It’s about God showcasing His power and might in our everyday circumstances. It’s about God showing us He loves us. He cares for our every need; He provides what we need. All we need to do is trust Him. This just a little taste of what He plans on doing in our lives. There are many more things.
Last night, our faith soared big time! We were humbly reminded God cares for us. He is our provider; He gives out of a heart of love. He wants to do that for you too. Let us know how we can pray for you, and if you live in this area, let me know. We would love to have you join us. Our group has exploded, and it’s because of these great group of ladies. Different places in life, cultures, and ages. We are all over the place, but I assure you, we have the same heart of love, and compassion for each other, and our world.
This group enjoys loving each other and helping each other. Most of all we have a heart for God and anyone He brings our way. I have been a part of this group for two years and my time is very tight. I guard it, and I will not ever miss this group because I saw what God has done in their lives, including mine, in this group. God is on the move, and when He is, signs and wonders are manifested, healings take place, and the character of the people will change, and they will grow in our Lord Jesus Christ.

And we are thanking God for each other.
"And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ." -Philippians 1:6
God bless you all, My Friends!
