"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." -Isaiah 43:2
When the storms rage around you and there is no understanding what God is doing, fear not, child of God, He is with you always. The same when it seems as if you're being consumed by the fire, it will not harm you (think of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego). Your faith in God to get you through all the tough and seemingly hopeless and impossible times, is most imperative. He is in the storm and the fire with you. Keep your eyes on Him. I know personally what it is like to go through the fire and harrowing winds. I know what it is like to feel as if God is not there and that there is no way out. Many times I haven't understood why God has me go through particular situations. However, what is of most importance is that, during these times, I know God is with me always, no matter the circumstances or how I feel. It takes lots of prayer, obedience, stepping out of fear, going blindly in faith, trusting God, and remaining steadfast on His solid foundation. God shall see us through. Go forth even if you are scared. He is our shelter, our fortress, our solid ground that is immovable. He loves you with an everlasting love. "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." -Psalm 91:1-2
