The Lord Who Keeps You Safe

“The Lord also keeps safe those who suffer. He is a safe place in times of trouble. Those who know Your name will put their trust in You. For You, O Lord, have never left alone those who look for You.” -Psalms 9:9-10

Last night, I had a conversation about suffering. After, I couldn’t sleep half the night. This morning I woke up to this passage. Right there, I didn’t have to search, I know God brought it in front of my eyes to strongly remind me Whom He is and whom I am in Him! So, then, what about “Those that suffer?” God Almighty, our Wonderful Lord keeps them safe in it! No matter the suffering He has allowed you to walk through, the King of kings, the Lord of lords is keeping you safe in your suffering and walking with you through it. Catch this truth! He might have allowed you to walk this road, but you’re walking through it with God Almighty. His Majesty, Who is able to do all things, is there walking you through it all. You ask how? By not allowing the trial to swallow you, by living in the land of the living with His power, His might, His anointing, His peace, His love, His goodness, His mercy, His prearranged way of escape in your very trial. God will never allow the trial to break or destroy you. Glory to God! We serve a living God; we serve a mountain-moving, separating-seas kind of God. He sends manna from Heaven and causes fresh water to gush from the rock; That’s our God. In all things, He’s there. Through the storming ocean, through the intense fire, He’s there! He has you in the grip of His hands, and He will not let go. So, then, WHO does he have in his hands? Those who KNOW His name! Do you really, really know His name? If the answer is, “No,” then I plead with you to find out Who this Great God, I talk about all of the time really is. He said to Moses, “I Am Who I Am!” The best answer I can give you, ask Him. Ask, “I Am Who I Am” to show Himself to you, personally. I promise He will. If your answer is, “I know Him personally,” then put your trust and hope in Him. We, who know Him, do not put our trust in chariots, horses, or people. We put our trust and hope in the Great I Am, the Ruler and Creator of the universe, and of our very lives. The promise of God here says, “For You, O Lord, have never left alone those who look for You.” My Friends, look for Him. He won't leave you alone. Look for Him in your trial, look for Him in your joy. Look for Him in all things, good or bad, joy or sorrow, peace or suffering. He is there as your Place of Safety.

PRAYER: Yes, Lord, thank You. You will never abandon Your people. You will lead gently and carry on Your shoulders those who are broken, hurt, and suffering. You will safely carry to the other side those who keep their eyes on You, trusting Your ways in their trials. They will fly as eagles because their hope and trust are in their Living God. The righteous will always be saved. For a true follower of God, they will have many troubles, but God shall deliver Him from them ALL! In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Be encouraged today, God has a safe place for you in your trial. It’s under His personal protection wherever you go, under His wings for shelter, holding you by your right hand, and in the grip of His hand. No, He will not let go of you. Join me in a song of praise and give Him all your praise because He is the unfailing God, full of grace, mercy, and love. Your life is hidden with Christ!
