"The master said, 'Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let's celebrate together!'" -Matthew 25:23

I begin with asking you a question: What do you want your Master Jesus to say to you? You see we are all servants here on Earth. Do you want to be an obedient child of God? Are you trustworthy and useful to Him? Do you want to be useful in the Kingdom of God? If your answer is yes, then this is what you must do. You must look at the talents God gave you must see yourself in those talents as an expert, and skilled person. You must believe you are capable of what the Lord has entrusted into your hands. You must understand that you are going to be very useful in His kingdom! You see, you must determine in your heart and mind that you will finish. You will see it through; you will complete and ensure all that God gave you to do here on Earth is done. A person that finishes well is a person who is resolved to work out and figure out everything that they need to do to achieve success. You already possess everything you need being a child of God to do what He has placed in your hands to do. If you think that what He gave you is not important, I suggest you think again! God has already equipped you for every good work. How do I know this? Because his word says so! You know what your greatest, and challenging test will be? One requirement only! It is that you remain faithful! You must remain loyal to the call. You must remain trustworthy; this means God can trust you. You must be committed and dedicated. You must be devoted totally to your Heavenly Father who will be loyal and devoted to you in return. Be a reliable servant, constantly true to your calling. This means do whatever God opens the door for you to do. If you are teaching Sunday School to one child make it the best lesson that child will ever hear. If you are leading a church of 20 people, prepare as if you are preaching to 20,000 people. Stay true to what and where He has placed you. God wants to know you are dependable. He wants to see you mature enough to know that one soul is worth every sacrifice. When He sees you have done this, He will give you numerous, countless, really He will give you tons more souls for you to win. If God has given you a handful now, be faithful, stay the course because the masses are coming! Look how He ends this verse! “Let’s celebrate together!” You know what this celebrates means? It means “make merry!” It means there is a party, a celebration. It means you will be honored! God remembers the small things we do, and I believe more than the big things. He wants to see us stay true when we think there is nothing to brag about.

He tells us not to despise small beginnings!

What has God given you to do? Make a determination by kneeling before God and telling Him you will finish this race well and you will be faithful. Then, do it with all your might, power, and strength and watch what God will do in the midst of you.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for being the All-Seeing God for You see all my comings and goings, and You alone truly know my heart and mind. Fill me with strength and determination to remain in You, obeying all Your commands that I may be found always living in Your love. In Jesus' name, Amen.
