You Have a Destiny in This World

“But I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” -Exodus 9:16 Beloved of God, you have a purpose in this world! You were born for a reason; you were created to shine for your God! You are exceptional, inimitable, distinctive, irreplaceable, rare; you are one of a kind! Just as no two people have the same fingerprints, there is no one like you. You are unique and you are special to God. Perhaps you are asking yourself, Lord what is my purpose? Here lies your answer. God told Moses he had a destiny to fulfill. Moses had no idea what God had raised him to be. However, I want to point out that Moses played a part in his destiny, too. He saw a bush on fire, went to examine this strange thing, and there within the bush God called him. May I suggest to you that you must go and search what His plan for your life is? God has a perfect plan for you, a plan that will give you a hope and a future, but you must go to God as Moses went to examine the burning bush. May I further suggest sometimes that “burning bush” is a desire God has placed in your heart? Once Moses knew it was God, he asked to see Him. Imagine the boldness of Moses asking, "God, I want to see you." God told him, "You cannot see me and live, but very well, I will pass by you." When God passed by Moses, he was never the same again because Moses saw the glory of God. That my friends, is a wow moment for real. I so wish I could have the glory of God pass by me, don’t you? Moses went from being a man that was not eloquent in speech to a man that led the Israelites out of Egypt with mighty acts of power, and wrote five books in the Old Testament! What a purpose and what a destiny. God called him to lead His people out of slavery and into the Promised Land. Therefore, God was going to show His power to him. Moses had a choice to follow this God that asked him to do an impossible task or refuse and stay in the dessert raising sheep. Because he believed God, he was used mightily by God and to this day the whole world knows of him. I don’t care what lies the enemy or people have told you. REFLECTION: "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light," (1 Peter 2:9 ESV). You are special, you are extraordinary, no one compares to you. You are who God says you are. Start by speaking life over yourself. Believe that you were born for a reason, for this time, in the place you live, because God has a purpose for you. You can believe this because God’s word says so! You matter! You were no accident! You were meant to be His beautiful child, and you are valuable to Him! Most of all he loves you with an everlasting love! Celebrate the life you have in Him and search for Him and His plans for your life.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, You are the Destiny Maker. You create everything with purpose and significance. Thank You for creating me with significance. Thank You for creating me with purpose. You are my Life Giver, the One Who Sustains me. Father, use me for Your glory and for Your will. Let Your will be worked in me, and let me participate in furthering Your Kingdom.
