God Sees Your Affliction

"The Lord said, 'I have seen the misery of my people in Egypt, and I have heard them crying out because of the slave drivers. I know how much they’re suffering. 8 I have come to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and to bring them from that land to a good land with plenty of room for everyone. It is a land flowing with milk and honey...'"
-Exodus 3:7-8 (GW) Children of the Most High God, you can rest confidently without any doubt that God has seen your affliction. Unquestionably and indisputably for sure, He heard your cry for help. It reached His ears. Do you see He tells Moses where they even where from? This means that He knows exactly where you are too. He knows the country, the state/region, the city, and the street you live on! You can rest assured that he knows exactly which house you are in, and the problems within your home. He knows that Satan the taskmaster is there trying to destroy you His beloved child. God came down from heaven to speak to Moses from a burning bush to tell him. I sometimes wonder if that was an outside sign that God was burning with anger! Just my thought. God certainly wasn’t happy that His chosen people, whom He led to Egypt would now be slaves. Let’s not forget, they were there because of the famine. God had made a provision for them, and now His people were slaves to brutal taskmasters. He saw their sufferings. He came to deliver them. He not only would deliver them but also bring them to a broad land, flowing with milk and honey.
MEDITATION: "You have kept a record of my wanderings. Put my tears in your bottle. They are already in your book," (Psalm 56:8). Where do you find yourself today? Are you in anguish? Has sorrow swallowed you? Is your affliction too much to bear? Are you filled with grief? Do you feel tormented by your past/present sins or those that others have inflicted on you because of their sins? In your distress and pain, He heard you! Your anguish reached the ears of God. He has come down from His throne room with deliverance in His hands. He wants to lead you out of the pity of agony. He wants to bring you to a place of quietness and freedom. He wants to end your raging war. Today He is speaking to you, and He is saying, “be still before the Lord and see the salvation of your God. He comes with power and might and will deliver you. I am amazed that he doesn’t just want to deliver you. But wants to bring you into a wide, open, spacious, and big place. Whatever has happened to you, He is going to exchange it for something better and bigger. Your God doesn’t just do anything little. He wants His power to be seen in and through you. Declare today, you are moving out of Egypt to a place flowing with milk and honey.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, You are the Lord my Yokebreaker. Thank You for being the God Who Goes Before Me, and the One Who Is Leading Me Out of Egypt. You are bigger than my suffering, and You are greater than what I feel. Thank You for driving out my enemies from the place You are taking me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
