Faith Produces Steadfastness

"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness." -James 1:2-3
Are you going through some things and you ask "God, why are you doing this to me?" or "Why would a loving God do these things?" Sometimes God does things for a reason. Maybe He's testing you to make your faith stronger, or maybe He's using you to do greater things. Whatever it may be, know that God understands your suffering, and He will make it better when the right time comes.
MEDITATION: The Bible says, in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." The Lord has already planned out your life, and He will not waste it.
Everyone's life has a purpose, however, not everyone chooses to follow the path God has given them.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank you for creating me with purpose and designing me for great things. Though the sorrow may last for the night, help me to always remember joy comes in the morning. Whatever I am going through, teach me to count it all joy. Help me to remember to count it all joy because You, O God, are with me and are shaping me to carry out the plans You have uniquely designed for me. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
